This is the current Privacy Statement for www.rxffish.com as of September 29, 2000 

This privacy statement discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for www.rxffish.com. This website was developed and is maintained for Rx F Fish by our subsidiary group, FlashPort.net.

Information is gathered by a number of viewer submission forms at Rx F Fish.  The use and/or intended purpose of all information gathered by Rx F Fish is clearly stated on each of the forms which gather viewers' input.   

All information noted in the chart below as 'Private' is retained by Rx F Fish and under no circumstance is it offered to other companies, agencies, or individuals.  In those cases regarded as 'Private',  identity and contact information is maintained in strictest confidence. 

Information noted as 'Public' is used all or in part for various purposes throughout the pages at Rx F Fish.  Rx F Fish is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of the web sites of those individuals or companies who submit information.  It is general practice, however, that all information that will be used on-line at Rx F Fish is verified with the appropriate parties before it is published to the web site.  

In some instances where no e-mail or other contact information is afforded, verification of the information is attempted by a review of the viewer's web site to ascertain its validity.  In cases where validation may be in question, the information is not published to the site.

It is standard practice at Rx F Fish that specific information about Web Site Statistics regarding type and quantity of viewer traffic is not made available to any company, agency or individual.  Exceptions are occasionally made in which high-traffic pages are noted for the benefit of allowing potential advertisers an opportunity to evaluate appropriate placement of high-visibility materials that will be seen by viewers.  Otherwise, the withholding of all information of a more specific and 'private' nature is maintained in a strict and confidential manner. 

Security Issues

Rx F Fish maintains standard security practices to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information which is under our control.  Accordingly, periodic reviews are made with our Web Host to assure that our compliance to such matters is effectively administered.

Rx F Fish Discussion Forums

Any Rx F Fish Viewer may read any postings on the forum pages.  These postings are "Public" and open to all, members and non-members alike.  However, a non-member may not view a member's personal profile.  In order to do that, an individual must first become a member of the Rx F Fish Discussion Forum.

Each registered member of the forum has the opportunity, at the time of registration, to restrict his/her personal  profile information from other viewers.

When an individual member elects to keep his or her personal profile restricted from other viewers, that profile is then considered 'Private' and all rules governing privacy as stated in the Rx F Fish Privacy Statement apply.
